In this workshop we will learn to make a hardcover book with the beautiful Japanese Stab Binding. After a short essential introduction we will start to fold the single sections. As with the Japanese Stab Binding, the cover is sewn in, so we will prepare the hardcovers already now. Afterwards we will sew the book block and the cover by using the traditional four hole stab binding (Yotsume-toji). With the learned skills you are able to create further books by yourself. All materials are included in the costs as well as drinks and snacks.
Suitable for beginners, no prior skills are required.

Cancellation Policy
If you are unable to join the workshop you booked, feel free to give your place to somebody else. In case this is not possible, we offer to pick up a „material bag“, containing the materials we used in the workshop and a guide, so you can create the book(s) by yourself. Please note, that any bookbinding tools or glue are not included in the bag.
